Hi, and thank you for visiting the "Pray for Jake" page (on Facebook). This page aims to spread awareness of the need for prayers, encourage donations if you feel led, and offer support to Jake and his family. All updates on Jake will be posted here. We are blessed and thankful that you are here.

Please allow me to share a little bit about our Jake. (Most of you know him as Jacob.)  Jake was born in September 1992. He is a special needs adult with a child-like mind, that of a 2-year-old. He has the biggest heart and loves everyone, especially girls.  There is never a sad day in his life.  Anyone who knows him knows he's crazy about his weasel balls from Craker Barrel, and they always stay in his hands. He can never have enough of them! He loves going to Cherokee, North Carolina, to feed the bears and taking trips to Grandmama's house, and he adores his Nana. To him, Santa is real, along with Mighty Joe Young. Christmas is daily, and sausage biscuits and Coke should always be served. He knows everybody (he never meets a stranger), and everybody knows him. Once you meet him you will never forget him. He has touched many lives, and he still has work to do. He has been at three different hospitals since November 2024. Jake spent over a month at Emory Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia, from December 2024 until February 2025. In January of 2025, our sweet boy was diagnosed with Diffuse Large B Cell Lymphoma. To go into the depth of his many medical issues will take forever to list. All I can say is he is fighting for his life. We ask for healing, strength, and courage for Jake and his family. He has a long road ahead of him. We know that we are not in control, but God is. Our faith is strong, and we know God is not finished with our boy. He has a purpose and plan for Jake. We love our boy.

Grace By Faith & Co. has a dedicated category especially for Jake and his family. All proceeds from Jake's Merch go directly to Jake and his family for their needs.

Thank you for your continued prayers and support.  Please keep praying! May we all have a heart like Jake. The world sure would be a better place. God bless!
